Lisa Jorgensen received her MA and two other degrees from the University of Iowa. She met her husband, Paulo, while in dental school in Brazil.

Lisa returned to Spencer to join her father’s practice and earned her CPOP in 2008 and her hearing aid dispensing license in 2009.

She loves researching everything she can to help her patients with their hearing disablility.

While not in practice, Lisa is an avid crafter and has been restoring vintage knitting machines for about two years with the help of her son.

Make sure to ask her how many of the 50 states she has visited and which ones are her favorite.

“I have always enjoyed helping people and putting smiles on people’s faces, at Jorgensen Hearing Center I can do both!” Tom says.

Tom grew up in Spencer and graduated from Spencer High School in 1987 as a part of the 100th graduating class. Tom has a wife and three kids, 2 boys and 1 girl. He has been involved with many local service groups and on local boards in the community.

When not at work, Tom likes to watch NFL football, and enjoys campfires in his backyard fire pit.

Paulo and his wife came to Spencer to help Doctor Jorgensen with hearing tests.

This gave Paulo a better understanding of the side effects caused by the deafness in his right ear, motivating him to help people with hearing loss.

Paulo is searching for ways to self-awareness to understand his own needs as well as those of others.

In Brazil, Paulo used to practice volleyball, capoeira, and wrestling. He is now learning to play golf and jiu-jitsu. He also enjoys handcrafts, such as quilting and machine embroidery.

That is just one of the things that our hearing aid dispenser, Adam, enjoys doing in his free time.

Adam grew up in the Spirit Lake area and currently resides in Ireton with his wife Brandi. He keeps busy with his five kids’ activities and relaxing by the lake.

Adam feels pride and satisfaction when he can help someone communicate better with their loved ones when he fits them with hearing aids.

Denise Seivert is the office manager. She has two grown kids, Brooke and Blake.

Denise enjoys exploring and spending time outdoors going for walks with her dog, Jessie, and camping when she has the chance.

She was diagnosed with a hearing loss type called a “cookie-bite” so Denise knows what it is like to have to deal with the disability. Wearing hearing aids and working with those who also suffer with this disability has been rewarding for her as she can understand the basic dilemmas that people with a loss must deal with.

Prior to moving to Everly in 1999, she used to vacation at Okoboji when she was young with her grandparents. Pam has four grown children and seven grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys reading and getting together with her family and playing with her Great Dane, Kash.

Jenny really enjoys helping people and those who suffer from hearing loss. Her Dad and other family members who suffer from hearing loss have inspired her to work at Jorgensen Hearing Center.
